How to log your promotion fixtures with the Amateur FA

Modified on Mon, 22 May 2023 at 11:11 AM

Throughout your time of the Referee Progression Pathway, match officials that are attemting to progress from Level 7-6, 6-5, 5-4 and 4W-3W must inform the Amateur FA of the fixtures they are appointed too in advance of refereeing them. This should include games as both Referee and Assistant Referee.

Games should be logged via the Amateur FA RefSec system that can be accessed by visiting https://afa.refsec.org

You will then need to log in and when youare at the home page, hover over Matches and click on New Match.

Upon doing this it will open up a new page as below, once you have completed all the fields click on next and there will be more match details required to ensure that we know all the relevant details.

Once you have completed this, the County FA will get an email notification informing them you have listed the game and should there be a Match Day Coach or Observer available then one may be appointed to watch you.

Should you have any questions regarding any of the above, please contact us using referees@amateur-fa.com
