What Leagues can I referee in?

There are a number of different Leagues & Competitions that you are able to officiate in. Please note that you need to apply to join the panel of match officials for each league you wish to officiate on and details are below. 


Step 5/6 Leagues

These Leagues are for Level 4's as Referees on the Step 5 divisions, however the Leagues rely on Level 5a, 5b & 5c's to officiate in the role of Assistant Referees and where performance is good there is the chance that officials below Level 4 can be appointed as a Referee. 


Combined Counties Football League - (Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Hertfordshire, Jersey, Kent, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, Surrey and London)


South Counties Eastern Football League - (South East London, Kent)


Essex Senior League - (Essex & Hertfordshire and Greater London)


Spartan South Midlands Football League - (Hertfordshire, Greater London, Buckinghamshire and Southern Bedfordshire)


Hellenic Football League - (Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Southern Buckinghamshire, Southern Hertfordshire, Southern Warwickshire, Northern Wiltshire and Worcestershire)


Step 7 and Grassroots Leagues

Referees at any level can act as Referee or Assistant Referee on the following leagues as long as the competition rules do not stipulate that a set level of match official must act in a set role at a set level within the individual League.
