We are a new club and want to join a league, what do I need to do?

If you have formed a new club and are looking to join a league, you need to contact the relevant League Secretary and they will explain the process to you. A list of the leagues sanctioned by the Amateur FA and their respective contact details can be found here: www.amateur-fa.com/clubs-and-competitions/our-affiliated-leagues. Please note, some of the Amateur FA leagues have particular criteria for the clubs that they will accept into their competition.

Alternatively, you may wish to compete in a league sanctioned by another County FA, such as London FA, Middlesex FA, Surrey FA, Essex FA, Kent FA or Hertfordshire FA. It is entirely acceptable to affiliate your club with one County FA but compete in a league that is sanctioned by a different County FA, there is no issue if you make that decision.

Be aware that all sanctioned leagues will only admit clubs that are affiliated to a County FA. To start the process of affiliating with the Amateur FA, please visit this webpage: www.amateur-fa.com/clubs-and-competitions/setting-up-a-club.
