What development opportunities is there for referees?

Modified on Mon, 25 Apr, 2022 at 3:58 PM

In the Amateur-FA, we have many different opportunities depending on your involvement within the game but opportunities for all!

We have our AFA Referee Hub groups that meet regularly throughout the year and we also have a Female Development Group that also meeting throughout the year. Both of these groups meet in person and virtual.

We invite all of our match officials to our Development Days, where they can pick up hints, tips and experience from FA Referee Tutors, Referees from the Non-League Levels and be able to network with their colleagues and County FA staff.

These are both practical and theory and open to all ages, levels and experiences.

For more information on other opportunities there are or how to get involved, please contact referees@amateur-fa.com and speak with our Referee Development Team.
