What's the danger of playing in unsanctioned football?

Modified on Thu, 7 Jul, 2022 at 2:25 PM

No team or club within the Amateur FA should be participating in unsanctioned football. Should an event take place that is either unsanctioned or has unaffiliated teams participating in, your club’s Personal Accident insurance may be void resulting in difficulties should any issues arise during the event.

Additionally, for clubs or teams that continually participate in unsanctioned football, the Amateur FA may have to result to charging the club under FA Regulations. Any clubs suspended registered players or officials cannot use these games to count for their suspension matches.
